Bruin Booster Club Scholarship

Bruin Booster Club Scholarship Information:  
Purpose:  The Bruin Booster Club Scholarship Program is focused on supporting students pursuing career training or post-secondary education following graduation from Fargo South High School.  The scholarship recognizes students who are actively involved at Fargo South High School by participating in a variety of extracurricular activities. 

Eligibility: To be considered for the Bruin Booster Club Scholarship:

  1. The applicant must be a senior at Fargo South High School and meet eligibility requirements for participation in sports, clubs, organizations, and activities.
  2. The applicant’s parent or guardian must be a member of the Bruin Booster Club before January 1st of the application year.
  3. The applicant must be planning to enroll in a regionally or nationally accredited university, college, or vocational school on a full-time basis.


Requirements to be submitted together:

  • Eligibility Confirmation
  • Application completed in full.
  • Two Letters of recommendation: one from a teacher, counselor or principal & one from a coach or club advisor.
  • Certificate of Accuracy and Permission to Use


Application Deadline:
Applications will be available by January 1. Current Booster Club members and eligible students will be emailed directly and applications will also be available online.   


Selection:
The Bruin Booster Club Scholarship Board will review applications and award based on available funding. **Parents, other family members, or guardians of current senior students will not participate in scholarship selection.

Ideally two female and two male students will be selected each year and awarded a $500 one-time scholarship; however this may vary depending on the pool of applicants. Scholarships will be distributed directly to the Facility or Institution in which the recipient is enrolled in the following academic year.
